INFORMATION
SO WHAT, SO I AM BIASED..THIS PRETTY MUCH SLAYS MOST OF THE "stoned-psych" whatever genre without even reaching side two..nuff said: Limited edition double vinyl bootleg of the LIVE IN TILBOURG mail order only CD issued by the band via their website, and rightly given album of the month status on Cope's Head Heritage site..500 being made, there will be 400 for sale via FORTE. Simple art, simple sleeve, but good quality vinyl. In 2008 The Heads were convinced to undertake their first tour of more than 3 dates in over 7 years, by going on a 7 date jaunt in the UK and Europe with fellow travellers the Wooden Shjips, theres was a tour single, an appearance at the Supersonic festival, and then a batch of sold out uk and EU shows..As ever the Heads taped most of the performances, and in Tilburg, they got an audience tape, desk tape, and stage tape...so, with the aid of the mighty Latch they put together this 'ere "Bootleg". A perfect snapshot of the Heads in full flight, as heavy and as dense as they can get, yet soaring far off into the vapours with their inimitable psych noise blastings. Much ignored in the UK for the past decade or so, the Heads might well be getting a wave of recognition right now, and this is a very good way to immerse oneself into the world of the Heads....

PRESS
The Heads once got 0/10 in VOX magazine, they never did find out who the person who reviewed it was...however thats kind of irrelevant, they recently released a well received split 12" on Rocket with White Hills, and are due to reissue their debut album with a whole pile of bonus material."..the Heads are a National Treasure"..said the Sunday Times. The LTD CDR release of this got Julian Cope all sweaty and so he gave it Album of the Month on his Head Heritage site> http://www.headheritage.co.uk/unsung/albumofthemonth/1997
